The Scandinavian Winter Series

Scandinavian Winter is a series of 3 contemporary romances, each set in a different Scandinavian country.

The first book, Until We Lay – set in Denmark, was released as a Kindle ebook in July 2016 and is now also available in paperback.

Until We Lay is the story of Lainey and Palle, an American supermodel and a Danish sociology student, whose paths cross when Lainey is hired to do a show during Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Venice of the North doesn’t quite live up to its romantic reputation in cold and gray February, and when Lainey’s extravagant but shallow life suddenly starts to crumble around her, she finds herself stuck in a purgatory of freezing rainstorms, lies, and memories that threaten to shatter what little hope she has of picking up the pieces.
Palle is determined to save the world, one person at a time, and when a real live damsel-in-distress suddenly stands barefoot in front of him in the freezing rain, he jumps at the chance to prove that he is not too soft to deal with the realities of a social worker’s case load. But perhaps he got a hold of the entirely wrong end of this particular stick, and sometimes good intentions and a sweet disposition just aren’t enough to deal with actual problems.
Sometimes the last thing you want is exactly what you need.

The Second book, Hold On – set in Sweden, will be released in 2017.

Hold On is the story of Susan and Lynxx (or Lasse as no one calls him, ever).
US award-winning journalist Susan Armstrong always gets her story. But her biological alarm clock went off a couple of years ago and now she has embarked on the next leg of her life’s journey; she’s going to have a baby. Seven months pregnant, she receives some very disturbing news and flies halfway around the world to find a former interview victim that might be the only person in the world that can help her. If he is willing to break a few laws, both legal and moral, for a woman he only met briefly, ten years ago, that is. And fast, because time is ticking and Susan is up against a completely new kind of deadline. Perhaps even a literal one?
Swedish hacker Lynxx has a magic touch. He can make a computer do anything, but when it comes to women he’s all thumbs. That’s usually not a problem since he avoids the fair sex most of the time, but when a reporter from his past tracks him down and tries to make him break the law for her, he needs to figure out how to make a woman bend to his will. If he doesn’t bend first, that is. Or perhaps even breaks?
